Jane has lived her whole life on the compound where her uncle serves as head scientist. His mission: time travel. Jane's mission: sneaking into the machine every chance she gets to try and get a glimpse of the past and a taste of freedom. Until one day she witnesses the death of a young woman who killed herself years before. The death haunts Jane and prompts her to further investigate, but what she learns shakes the very foundations of her comfortable life at the compound.
